Henry Jackson
Chief Executive
Henry co-founded OpCapita in April 2006 and is responsible for managing the firm, transaction origination and investor relations. He also holds several board positions across the portfolio and plays a significant role in overseeing operational implementation. Henry is Chairman of OpCapita's Investment Committee.

Henry has more than 30 years' experience working with senior management teams of leading consumer businesses in Europe and the US driving strategic change. After beginning his career at CSFB in New York, Henry left in 1989 to help establish Peter J. Solomon Company (PJSC), a retail and consumer focused private investment banking firm. After a decade with PJSC, Henry was recruited to establish and head DLJ's European Consumer and Retail Group in London in 1999 (subsequently acquired by Credit Suisse), before being recruited to a similar position at Deutsche Bank in 2002.

Henry has a BSc in Finance from Wharton and BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma, the business honours society. He speaks basic French, Italian and Spanish.

Henry is Non-Executive Director on OpCapita investee companies la Sirena and NKD. He also is on the Board of Invest Europe, the Brussels-based industry association representing Europe's private equity, venture capital and infrastructure firms and their investors, sits on its Mid-Market Platform Council and is Chairman of its Turnaround and Operational Improvement Roundtable.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Special Projects Committee of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, a member of the Council of the Serpentine Galleries in London and a member of the Board of Overseers of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
