OpCapita closes Consumer Opportunities Fund II Henry Jackson Interview
On 6 September 2016, OpCapita announced the closing of its second fund, Consumer Opportunities Fund II, at the hard cap of €350 million. OpCapita raised its first institutional fund, OpCapita Consumer Opportunities Fund I, of €110 million in 2014. Both funds are focused on investing in underperforming businesses in the consumer, retail and leisure sectors in Europe. Fund II received strong support from high quality, global institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, Fund of Funds, family offices and charitable foundations, predominantly from the US and Europe.
